Concord WebSign is a pure HTML (Web) application which enables e-documents to be signed by remote signees, on any internet-connected mobile or desktop device, using the touch screen as a signing pad and without having to install any App in advance. The signed and digitally sealed e-document is then returned to its sender.
WebSign is a cloud-based service that can be used on a public cloud as well as on a private cloud. On-premises installation is optional for organizations that need a private, highly secured system.
Simple! Just register yourself as a subscriber in the WebSign service site. You will need to provide only your valid email address. From that moment on, you can login and upload documents using a simple web interface. The link to the document can be sent by email to the signee, with a personal message, inviting her or him to review and sign the document.
The signee will immediately receive the message with a URL (link) to the document which waits for her / his signature in the WebSign documents storage. A one-time password (OTP) will be optionally generated and sent by the WebSign service to the Signee mobile phone, in case the mobile number has been entered by the sender.
Upon clicking on the document link, the signee needs to enter the one-time password that was received, to open and display the e-document that was sent for reviewing and singing. The signee can then browse through the displayed document, and sign with handwritten signature, on the touchscreen in each signature capturing window which pops up when clicking on [Sign] button placed in the end of the document.
The signed PDF document created is digitally secured (sealed) using Adobe™ Digital Signature standard. Any attempt to tamper with the document content will revoke the digital seal and the document will then become invalid, immediately indicated as such, when opened for reading in the commonly used Adobe Acrobat Reader ™.
